When I got to school in the morning (8.30am) everyone was there with all thir stuff, they were all packing up the cars with their stuff. We left at 9am. The drive to Vertical Horizons felt sooo long, like it never ended. I was in Corny's car with her dad, Bruce, Cha and Elizabeth. When we got there we got told that our sleeping arangements had changed, we were ment to stay in the TSB lodge, but we had to stay in the TET lodge. All the girls stayed in cabin 9. After we set up our cabins, we had an Orientian/Teacher induction. We met all the staff at VH and got shown where everything was at camp. After that we had Lunch, we had a shared lunch, but the girls in the car I was in we ate our lunch on the way. Hahr.
After lunch my group had Compass, it was easy 'cause we had Bruce in our group and we just followed him. After we had afternoon tea, for afternoon tea we had biscuits and a drink. Then we had flying kiwi, it was really fun, even though it was raining and I was in shorts. I didn't help that I was soaking. After my turn our instructor told me to go get some long pants. So i walked up to the cabin, freezing cold to get changed. Jasmine didn't do the activities that day because she felt sick, so she stayed back at the cabin. Flying Kiwi was our last activity that day. When everyone finished the activities, we went on the water slide and the mudslide. I didn't go on 'cause it was tooo cold but i look cool as.
Dinner was at 6pm. Dinner that night was, noisey. There was our school and another school, I think we had Deviled sausages with mashed patato and peas. It wasn't the best but it was good. After dinner we played spotlight, we played on this big feild, it was mean as!! When we finished spotlight we had supper at 9pm, we had milo and biscuits. Jasmine and I was being silly and spilt my Milo on my leg and a little bit on her knee, it hurt. After supper, we had to go to bed, but our cabin stayed up till like 12am. We were super tired the next day.
Camp Summary
Camp this year was awesome, but not as awesome as last year. I had a lot of fun on camp this year, with my friends. In high school I will miss camps like this year and last year.
Term 4 Summary
Term 4, felt it went on forever. The last term in the final year of primary school is the worst. Even though we hardly did any work and went on camp, it felt like forever. School work this term was mainly for our portfolios and testing. We did do normal work like, maths and writing. Even though i only came back at the start of the term, the work was a bit easy,vthen other schools i went to this year. I still learnt heaps when I came back this term. This term has been awesome!!
